OUR TEAM KIM PUTNAM: Kim received his Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served thereafter as an infantry officer with Ranger and Special Forces units. He received his law degree from the University of Puget Sound and is the founding partner for the law firm that is now Putnam Lieb Potvin. He has played an active role as a member in the Washington State Association for Justice ("WSAJ" formerly known as the Trial Lawyers Association), serving at differennt times as legislative counsel on the board of directors, and as head of the workers' compensation and insurance law sections. For multiple consecutive years, Kim has received honors as a Martindale Hubbell AV rated attorney, a US News Best Lawyer, a Thomson Reuters Super Lawyer, and Million Dollar Advocate. WAYNE LIEB: Wayne served as both an administrative law judge and chief review judge for the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals adjudicating workers' compensation appeals. He has served on the WSAJ board of governors and as chair of the Worker Compensation section of WSAJ. He has been appointed as a special master in Federal Court matters and has extensive experience in trial and appellate work, resulting in over 20 published appellate court decisions. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University and his law degree from the University of Washington. For multiple consecutive years, Wayne has received honors as a Martindale Hubbell AV rated attorney, a US News Best Lawyer, a Thomson Reuters Super Lawyer, and Million Dollar Advocate. KATHRYN POTVIN: Kathryn, an Olympia native, attended California Lutheran University where she graduated with honors. She obtained her law degree from Arizona State University after having completed an externship with the chief justice of the US District Court in Nevada. Kathyn practiced law in Nevada for eight years in the fields of workers' compensation and personal injury before returning to Washington State in 2007. Her efforts in Nevada resulted in new law that created an clarified benefits available to injured workers. Since joining the firm, she has received honors as a Thomson Reuters Rising Star and Super Lawyer,a US News Best Lawyer, and a Seattle Met Top Lawyer. DUSTIN DAILEY: Dustin received two Bachelor's Degrees (International Studies and Political Science) and his Law Degree from the Universty of Washington. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Dustin served four years as a Washington State Assistant Attorney General litigating workers' compensation, and two years as a Program Manager for the Department of Labor and Industries' new Structured Settlement Program. His expertise in the field of workers' compensation makes him a valuable member of our team.
